well. life, to say the least, has been B O R I N G. everyday: sch home eat shit sleep sch home eat shit sleep sch home eat shit sleep. nothing interesting at all. yesterday we even had sch until 6.15, tell me got life or not.
but fun will be injected into life once again tomorrow! gonna watch The Dark Knight tomorrow with Siantzu since we end at 2.30 :D heard frm many ppl that the movie is damn good, esp Heath Ledger. OF COURSE LAH! he was the male lead in my favourite movie of all time [10 Things I Hate About You] leh! of course must be good lah!
but now he's dead. :( i was damn shocked lor, couldnt believe it. i wasnt able to believe that The Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin died either, but oh well, shit happens.
anywaaaaaaaaay. i "promised" Sarah and Lucie that i was gonna blog abt AEP and how much of a life they have!
hello ppl. if you think that geog/chem/physics/econs is bad, think again. art, specifically AEP, is even worse! not only for the art students, but even the friends of the art students!
friend of art student: hey tomorrow wanna watch movie/run/go out?
art student: no i cant, i need to paint.
friend of art student: ohhh... what abt next week?
art student: nope, got art.
friend of art student: then weekends?
art student: i need to stay at home and finish my painting.
friend of art student [obviously getting quite irritated of art by now]: then when are you free!?
art student: errrr.... never?
[last 2 lines are made up and exaggerated, purely for entertainment purposes.]
-few weeks later-
friend A of art student: hey tomorrow wanna go out?
friend B of art student: ok!
friend A of art student: we can watch this movie!
-art student looks on-
friends A and B of art student: we are not even gonna bother wasting our breath to ask you!
the point being made is there. AEP students totally have no life! even their breaks are spent in the art room. and when they go home, they paint some more! and weekends are spent painting! they eat sleep and breathe art!
i cannot imagine a life just sitting there painting and painting over and over again. even if i have no artistic talent whatsoever to speak of.
the bottom line is, art is a killer. but at least you put in the effort knowing you can get a confirmed A at the end, unlike the other subjects. but still. i rejoiced and celebrated when i finally didnt have to take art in upper sec. imagine taking art all the way until now. even in sec 3 and 4 Li Zhen was already complaining that art sucks, cos she took art. now worse ah, standard higher leh.
if i had to choose art and 2 times of geog, i'd confirm choose geog. that's how much art seems so taxing on your mind and body.
all right enough of art if not the AEP students in my class will all come and hantam me tomorrow.
today during one of my breaks i was sitting at the atrium and staring at the field. it suddenly looked huge. i couldnt believe i actually managed to run up and down it so many times before. OH NO STAMINA DISAPPEARING FAST.
i miss wearing boots, the smell of the grass when you're standing on it, running after the ball, and kicking it around. :(
